Some new preventative\nmeasures you\u2019ll see in action include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Clear plastic barriers installed near the front\ndesk to stop the movement of viral particles.<\/li><li>No reading materials and limited seating in the\nwaiting room to reduce the number of surfaces the virus can accumulate on.<\/li><li>HEPA air filters added to the HVAC system to\ncapture pathogens in the air.<\/li><li>Additional cleaning times. Operatories will be\ncleaned after each appointment and the whole office will be thoroughly\ndisinfected at the end of each day.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2>New Policies For Patients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Practices are also asking patients to take additional steps\nto protect themselves when they come in for care.
